There's always Raystown Dam to stop at in the neighborhood of Raystown Lake; there are other spots here than Raystown Lake, for example Singers Gap Reservoir. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. You'll meet a lot of folks from Huntingdon here, and Warrior Ridge Campground is a fine local campground. Dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn & Suites State College. This lake is so wonderful. There are some good whitewater spots on Sideling Hill

| | Creek; on a great day you can take a hike along the Butler Trail. Lake Raystown Family Resort is a great campground nearby; Comfort Inn Huntingdon is a good site to get some rest. If you come at the right time of year, Great Trough Creek offers some great whitewater, and there is a magnificent hiking trail nearby called the Ramsey Trail. down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; overnight lows at Raystown Lake during the winter ordinarily dip into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm places, why not check out Swigart Pond in
the vicinity of Raystown Lake; if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Sheep Rock Trail. If you're here at Raystown Lake and you like golf, you can have a look at Huntingdon Country Club, and do have a look at Hawns
