This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Lehigh River for all you adrenaline people, and folks from Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton love to come here. The high level of rain makes Ranger Lake a rather wet spot; most of the rain falls throughout May while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A great nearby hotel is Quality Inn Allentown.       This lake is so wonderful. You could also go to Grouse Hall Pond while you're here at Ranger Lake; it's close by; a tour to Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor is recommended. Ranger Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Kampgrounds Amer Allentown is a great place to camp nearby, and Rodeway Inn Conference Center is a tremendous place to get some rest. Don Laine Campground is a splendid local campground, and everyone nearby loves skiing                  at Blue Mountain. Near Ranger Lake you locate the Boulder Field Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail, and you can run the rapids of Lizard Creek. What a site this is for outdoors folks. Iron Lakes Country Club is a golf course near Ranger Lake, and the skiing at Bear Creek is magnificent. Summertime highs at Ranger Lake usually tend to be in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's.
