If you haven’t been to Delaware National Scenic River, you have to schedule some time for it if you're here, and naturally, this is a magnificent region for people who like lakes, Deer Lake is a lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Rake Pond is not far at all from East Stroudsburg, and the Smith Trail offers hiking at its best. A splendid location for whitewater paddling close to Rake Pond is Brodhead Creek, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at

| | close by Alpine Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop by Rakes Dam since you're here at Rake Pond; some nearby water includes Pond Creek. A good deal of rain falls at Rake Pond; the month with most of the rain is May; February meanwhile is the driest month. Summer at Rake Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's while Rake Pond overnight low temperatures | |
