| | Inn Royle is a pleasant location to get some rest, and not far from Rainbow Lake you'll hit upon Pond Five which is a gorgeous lake. A quick spree to Bullock Run in the vicinity of Rainbow Lake is a delightful idea, and a tremendous nearby hotel is Rodeway Inn Kittanning. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? delightful and it's near Rainbow Lake. There's so much to do here at Rainbow Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cherry Run Camp is a good place for that, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you
then, we recommend Cowanshannock Creek. The warmest time of the year at Rainbow Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Rainbow Lake.
