    Why not stop by Quakake Lake if you're passing through these parts. So much amusing stuff to do at Quakake Lake, so little time. The Pinnacle Trail offers hiking at its best, and Quakake Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Whitewater Raft Campground is a wonderful local campground. Quakake Lake is a quite wet place frequently with lots of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most while  
   February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. All through the warm days of summer at Quakake Lake temperatures are frequently in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Quakake Lake temperatures sink to the 10's.
Lakes are glorious; Broad Run Reservoir is a lake that's right next door to Quakake Lake; skiing at Jack
 
               Frost is one of those things you just ought to do. This lake is so wonderful. Quakake Dam is not far at all from Quakake Lake; dry warm beds await you at HAZLETON MOTOR INN. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail; if you need a site to stay The Broadway Guest House is a wonderful choice.
If you're dropping by Quakake Lake from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre, you won't be the only one, and camping at Rosemount Camping Resort is always a delightful experience. There's whitewater on Nesquehoning Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Black Creek. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Quakake Lake; Boulder Field Trail is a magnificent local trail, and why not a little side spree to Beaver Creek.
Not far from Quakake Lake, you'll discover Eurana Park Pool which is a stunning lake; you can never get enough of the magnificent skiing at Blue Mountain. This site is great, just explore all the exciting things to do near Quakake Lake.
