Quakake Lake is a nice lake to visit. You'll find a beautiful lake called Hauto Dam near Quakake Lake, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop at Quakake Dam. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Quakake Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Whitewater Raft Campground is a tremendous place for that; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Jack Frost if you're here. | | along the Boulder Field Trail is glorious fun, and you can run the rapids of Black Creek. Quakake Lake gets lots of water; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here; February meanwhile is the driest month. At Quakake Lake through the summer months highs are in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Quakake Lake. After a long day outdoors The Broadway Guest House is a fine place to spend a night or two,
and if you came to camp Rosemount Camping Resort is a good spot to do that. Going for a hike along the Pinnacle Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and HAZLETON MOTOR INN is a great site to get some
rest. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Quakake Lake. Nesquehoning Creek is a great whitewater spot near Quakake Lake, and a pretty lake like Eurana Park Pool is a pleasant site to check out.
At Quakake Lake you always meet someone from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre, and hey, Beaver Creek is a splendid local stream. Skiing at Blue Mountain is one of those things you just should do, and do take a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail.
