A pleasant spot to have a look at near Princess Lake is Smith Gap, and if you come at the right time of year, Pocono Creek offers some great whitewater. A quick tour to Frantzs Creek right next door to Princess Lake is a tremendous idea, and the Camelback Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful.
