All through the warm months at Portage Reservoir temperatures are regularly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Portage Reservoir during the winter regularly descend into the 10's.       This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Portage Reservoir, you could also visit delightful Lilly Number Two Reservoir; you can stay the night at Woodland Park. The scenery at Martindale Dam close to Portage Reservoir is picturesque, and a round of golf at nearby Maple Crest Golf Club is a great way to kill some time. All the water falling down from the sky makes Portage Reservoir a wet site; July is the month that gets the most rain while October is the month                  with the least amount of precipitation. Really pleasant skiing awaits you at Blue Knob, and at Portage Reservoir you always meet someone from Johnstown. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Ebensburg, and Lilly Reservoirs is a nearby lake that you could go to. So much fun stuff in the vicinity of Portage Reservoir, clearly amazing. There are brilliant sites to discover along the Wolf Rocks Trail.
