If you come at the right time of year, Pine Creek offers some fine whitewater, and Pond Three is not far at all from Pittsburgh. After a long day outdoors Springhill Suites By Marriott Monroeville is a great spot to spend a night or two, and not far from Pond Three you obtain some delightful water scenery at Renton Slurry Pond Three Dam. All through the long summer days here at Pond Three, high temperatures       mostly get into the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are frequently in the 30's while Pond Three night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. A magnificent nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Pittsburgh/Monroeville, and Collins Lake is a good lake close by. A normal amount of rain falls here at Pond Three; through May this area sees the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
