if you adore the outdoors.
This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water nearby, Howells Run is a stream you can go to during your stay, and for you golfers we recommend close by Ebensburg Country Club. If you came to
camp Woodland Park is a good place to do that; after a long day outdoors Red Carpet Inn & Suites Ebensburg is a great site to spend a night or two. Pond Number One gets much water; July is when you get the most rain here, and October
meanwhile is the driest month.
There is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of Pond Number One called the John P Saylor Trail, and the Lost Turkey Trail is a splendid hiking trail nearby. A day on the slopes of Blue Knob is just what you need, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Blacklick Creek - South Branch.
