Pond Number One is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. There's so much to do here at Pond Number One that you need to camp here for a while, Woodland Park is a great location for that, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Blue Knob. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is fine on Blacklick Creek - South Branch, and enjoy a round of golf at Ebensburg Country Club. If only every location had this

Throughout the summertime months at Pond Number One temperatures are typically in the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 60's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Pond Number One sink into the 10's. Man, is there loads of amusing stuff to do in close proximity to
Pond Number One. Here at Pond Number One you'll probably meet some folks from Johnstown, and nearby Kaylor Hollow is a good location to go. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the John P Saylor Trail, and
a fine close by hotel is Comfort Inn Ebensburg. You can take a little visit to Cambria Slope Mine Number Thirty-Three Dam if you're here at Pond Number One, and you're in all probability keen on lakes, City Reservoir is one of those
close by.
If you came to camp Blue Knob State Park is a tremendous location to do that, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Pond Number One; Lost Turkey Trail is a great local trail. In case you don’t have a problem getting
drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Conemaugh River, and do take a hike on the Wolf Rocks Trail.
