A pretty lake like Pond Three next to Pond Four is a nice location to pop by, and Rustic Acres Campground is a good local campground. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Pine Creek, and while you're here you can play some golf at Windyhill Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. There are some nice whitewater spots       on Sewickley Creek, and the good folks of Pittsburgh like to hang out close by. Do check out Collins Lake in the neighborhood of Pond Four, it's a pretty lake, and do go to Renton Refuse Bank Pond Four Dam since you're here. This place is excellent, just explore all the exciting stuff to do in close proximity to Pond Four. A day on the slopes of Boyce Park is just what you need, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Pittsburgh/Monroeville is a great                  place to spend a night or two.
