Pond Four is right by the Mile Trail, and paddling on Deckers Creek is so much fun. Dry warm beds await you at Morgantown WV, and drift down the rapids of Clay Run in a kayak. Pond Four gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July while February is ordinarily the driest month. Summer at Pond Four comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's;

If you need a place to stay Residence Inn Morgantown is a glorious choice, and why not camp at Mount Morris Campground while you're here at Pond Four. Pond Four is close to Mundell Hollow which is beyond doubt worth stopping at; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Active Uellow Boy Pond. playing golf at Carmichaels Golf Club is always a diversion, and Campground 70 is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Robena Slope Mine Refuse Bank Dam is worth taking a look at while you're here, and not far from
Pond Four you'll come across Monongahela River Pool Seven which is a pretty lake. Be careful coming to Pond Four, you might not ever want to return home again. People from Morgantown love to come to Pond Four, and some of the water close by flows, like Cats Run.
