Pond Five is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Pond Five. Lakes are splendid; Pond One is a lake that's near Pond Five, and Mahoning Creek has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby. During the months of summer at Pond Five highs are regularly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Pond Five are in the

| | 10's. You're probably into lakes, Pond Two is one of those nearby, and Mahoning Creek Mines Dam One and Two is beautiful. If you came to camp Cherry Run Camp is a pleasant place to do that, and Quality Inn Royle is a splendid spot to get some rest. If you need a spot to stay Rodeway Inn Kittanning is a great choice; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cowanshannock Creek. to do here at Pond Five that you need to camp here for a while, Mcauley Campground is a glorious location for that.
