Get yourself into a kayak and hit Kishacoquillas Creek, and why not camp at Hartman Center Camp Cnfrnc while you're here at Poe Lake. You might want to
pay a visit to Little Poe Valley while you're here at Poe Lake, and there are nice places to look at along the Little Poe Trail. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Poe Lake reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down
to the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Poe Lake are in the 10's.
From Poe Lake you acquire a delightful sight of High Mountain, and drift down the rapids of Elk Creek in a kayak. Go for a hike on the Kerstetter Path, and there are plenty of people from Lewistown here.
