Do check out Camp Netimus Lake in the vicinity of Pocono Woodland Lake, it's a lovely lake, and Delaware National Scenic River is a great national park. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff near Pocono Woodland Lake. If you came to camp Dingmans Campground is a fine spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful.                  Case Ponds is a nearby lake that you could visit, and hiking along the Lost Cabin Trail is splendid fun. There's some interesting stuff to distinguish at Pocono Woodland Lake Dam right next door to Pocono Woodland Lake, and skiing at Shawnee Mountain is one of those things you just have to do. There are some nice whitewater spots on Raymondskill Creek, and you can never get enough of the fine skiing at Tanglwood. During the months of summer at Pocono Woodland Lake highs are mostly in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Pocono Woodland Lake are in the 10's.
