Pocono Summit Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Mount Pocono Campground is a good place to camp nearby, and do take a hike on the Indian Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Pocono Creek, and a great nearby hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites.       You don’t have to go far from Pocono Summit Lake to make out the water at Summit Lake Dam; you can never get enough of the fine skiing at Camelback. Pocono Summit Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. Do check out Hawkey Pond near Pocono Summit Lake, it's a picturesque lake, and great skiing awaits you at Mount Airy Lodge.
