Going for a hike on the Burley Inlet Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and there is a nice hiking trail close by called the Camelback Trail. Lots of rainfall falls at Pocohontas Lake; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. Alpine Mountain has good slopes       and a friendly staff; a fine spot to camp here at Pocohontas Lake is Cranberry Run Campground. This lake is so wonderful. If only every spot had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great globe it would be. Get covered with water paddling on Pocono Creek, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit Pocahontas Dam. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do next to Pocohontas Lake. A wonderful lake like Blue Mountain Lake in close                  proximity to Pocohontas Lake is a great site to stop by, and Centerfield Coral Reef is positively a great site to go to. This lake is so wonderful. On a magnificent day at Pocohontas Lake you can take a hike along the Indian Trail, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Brodhead Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Hampton Inn StroudsburgPoconos is a splendid place to get some rest, and Shawnee Mountain is a very popular ski area in close proximity. Through the summertime months, highs commonly are in the 70's at Pocohontas Lake while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Pocohontas Lake drop into the 10's. A delightful nearby hotel is Days Inn East Stroudsburg, and getting to Michael Creek from Pocohontas Lake is easy. Delaware National Scenic River is a very splendid site to pop by in the neighborhood of Pocohontas Lake; there are plenty of people from East Stroudsburg here.
