Why not stop by Placid Lake if you're passing through these parts. If only every place had this much outdoors cool things, what a great globe it would be. There are other locations here than Placid Lake, for example Mosey Wood Pond; going for a hike along the Refuge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Hit the slopes at Big Boulder close at hand; Split Rock is an attention-grabbing site to explore while at Placid Lake.

| | is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Lehigh River near Placid Lake, and Split Rock Country Club is a splendid golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. It's always good to visit Hawk Falls, and there's whitewater on Tunkhannock Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Man, is there lots of amusing stuff to do in close proximity to Placid Lake. Hiking along the Boulder Field Trail is nice fun; a brilliant sight of wonderful Lake Mountain is available.

Why not camp at WT Family Camping since you're here at Placid Lake, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Inn At Blakeslee Pocono is a nice choice. All the water falling down from the sky makes Placid Lake a wet place; through
August this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Fern Ridge Campground is a magnificent local campground; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Choke Creek Trail.
Do have a look at Placid
Lake Dam if you're here at Placid Lake, and obviously Dilldown Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth taking a look at. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Split Rock; dry warm beds await you at Split Rock
Resort. Summertime highs at Placid Lake generally tend to be in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Placid Lake sink into the 10's.
