A nice place for whitewater paddling next to Piney Reservoir is Canoe Creek; Marie-Eileen Lake is a delightful lake nearby. You can run the rapids of Deer Creek in close proximity to Piney Reservoir, and Piney Reservoir is a fine spot to visit for more than one day, Scenic Riders is a fine spot to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Rustic Acres Campground is a nice local                  campground, and going for a hike on the Hunter Run Trail is always a nice adventure. Not far from Piney Reservoir you get some pleasant water scenery at Piney Dam, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Clarion is a good location to spend a night or two. The view of delightful Groce Hill near Piney Reservoir is tremendous, and lakes are such serene places, why not explore Pond Two. This lake is so wonderful.
