Some nearby water includes Bridge Creek, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Burley Inlet Trail. Paddling on Wallenpaupack Creek is so much fun; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Boundary Trail. Ledgedale Recreation Area is a wonderful campground nearby, and on a nice day you can take a hike along the Snow Shanty Trail. This lake is so wonderful.       Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Lake Lacawac, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Dry warm beds await you at Caesars Cove Haven. Lakes are wonderful; Lake Paupack is a lake that's close to Pine Lake. High temperatures at Pine Lake all through the summer are in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.                  For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Pine Lake dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. People from East Stroudsburg love to come to Pine Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Pine Lake a wet site; June is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Ski Big Bear is a good local ski area; Pine Lake is a brilliant spot to visit for more than one day, Secluded Acres Campground is a brilliant spot to camp nearby.
