Having a perfect time at Pine Grove Lake is uncomplicated. The top of Crystal Hill is easily seen from Pine Grove Lake; the snow is fine at Camelback. This lake is so wonderful. At Pine Grove Lake you always meet someone from East Stroudsburg, and Wigwam Run is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Pocono Creek, and the best       way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Alpine Mountain. The high level of rainfall makes Pine Grove Lake a reasonably wet site; the month with most of the rain is May while February is generally the driest month. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn Stroudsburg is a great place to spend a night or two; Poplar Valley is another delightful location to pop by nearby.
