if you're keen on cool geologic characteristics try Old Toboggan Run Rocks. Pinchot Lake is a spot with many visitors from York-Hanover, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Victoria Trail.
This lake is so wonderful.
Here at Pinchot Lake you can make out Balanced Rock, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Water Tank Trail. Midatlantic Driving Range & Eagleview Golf Course is a fine golf course close by, and why not check out Pinchot
Lake Dam since you're here. And if that's not sufficient, there's lots more to do near Pinchot Lake.
If only every spot had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great globe it would be. Skiing at Ski Roundtop is one of
those things you just should do, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Beaver Creek. If the weather is glorious here at Pinchot Lake, you can go for a hike along the Darlington Trail; Harrisburg/South Super 8 Motel is a good location to get some rest.
