This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Clearfield, and there's always Upper Dam to explore right next door to Philipsburg Reservoir. Take a little visit to Cabbage Hollow Run if you're here at Philipsburg Reservoir, and float down the rapids of Black Moshannon Creek in a kayak. A good site near Philipsburg Reservoir is Cabbage Hollow; there are pleasant       places to discover along the Black Bear Trail. For the duration of the long summer days here at Philipsburg Reservoir, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Philipsburg Reservoir. Any time is a fine time at Philipsburg Reservoir if you adore the outdoors. Going for a hike on the Slide Hollow Trail is always a good adventure, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Moshannon River. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from DuBois here. Philipsburg Reservoir sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February.
