Philipsburg Reservoir gets lots of water; June is when you get the most rain here while February is commonly the driest month. Camping at Camp Blue Diamond is always a good experience. There are good spots to discover along the Slide Hollow Trail; if you came to camp Woodland Campground is a good site to do that. Go for a hike on the Black Bear Trail, and Emigh Lake is a glorious lake nearby. Be careful coming       to Philipsburg Reservoir, you might not ever want to go home again. Comfort Inn Clearfield is a good place to get some rest, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Moshannon River. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Philipsburg Reservoir, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Philipsburg Reservoir. This lake                  is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Turkey Trail, and you can take a little trip to Upper Dam if you're here at Philipsburg Reservoir. Don't forget to take a perfect little visit to Cabbage Hollow Run, and a fine place for whitewater paddling is Black Moshannon Creek. If you need a location to stay Rodeway Inn Clearfield is a great choice, and a stunning lake like Osceola Reservoir is a great spot to pop by. This lake is so wonderful.
