If you are in this part of Pennsylvania make sure to pay a visit to Peters Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn By Marriott Uniontown, and the Great Gorge Trail offers hiking at its best. | | don’t go skiing at Wisp while you're here. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Peters Lake while overnight lows are generally in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Peters Lake descend into the 10's. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. A lake close by is Surprise Lake; why not camp at Benner's Meadow Run Camping and Cabins since you're here at Peters Lake.

Scarlett Knob Campground is a good local campground; why not take a little spree to Beaver Creek since you're here. If you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel Uniontown Pa is a great choice; what would winter be without some skiing
at Seven Springs. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop by Lake George Dam, and Russell Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at.
Peters Lake is a good location of typical rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest.
