Summer brings highs in the 80's to Peters Lake. Summer night lows plunge down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Peters Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. What would winter be without some skiing at Wisp, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Meadow       Run. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Peters Lake. Lake George Dam is scenic and it's in the neighborhood of Peters Lake, and the slopes of Seven Springs are so inviting noone can resist. Have a good hiking adventure along the Mile Trail. There's so much to do here at Peters Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Scarlett Knob Campground is a good place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take                  a splendid little journey to Beaver Creek; you can stay the night at Benner's Meadow Run Camping and Cabins. This lake is so wonderful.
