In Pennsylvania there are many beautiful lakes, Persons Pond is one of them. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Persons Pond. There's whitewater on Shohola Creek for all you thrill seekers; Tanglwood is a nice local ski area. The annual rainfall here at Persons Pond is about average; through May this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Camping is available at Camp Shohola, and Billings Creek is near Persons Pond and is always a joy to pop by. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Persons Pond; Camp Biff Trail is a pleasant local trail,
and popping by Delaware National Scenic River is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. This lake is so wonderful. From Persons Pond you obtain a great view of Bald Hill, and a tremendous close by hotel is The Lodge at
Woodloch. Don't leave Persons Pond without first going for a hike along the Crawford Trail; The Lodge at Woodloch is a delightful place to get some rest.
Get your heart pumping on the glorious whitewater of Lackawaxen River, and
the slopes of Ski Big Bear are so inviting nobody can resist. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Persons Pond. Why not stop by a swamp like Beaver Swamp while you're here at Persons Pond.
