Penn-Dixie Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; all through May this area sees the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Southmoore Golf Course is a pleasant golf course nearby; the slopes of Bear Creek are so inviting noone can resist. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Penn-Dixie Pond with overnight lows in the 60's. The cold days of       the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Penn-Dixie Pond are in the 10's. Camping at Chestnut Lake Campground is always a nice experience, and unsurprisingly, this is a wonderful vicinity for people who like lakes, Miller Slate Pond is a lake around here. On a great day at Penn-Dixie Pond you can take a hike along the Camelback Trail; Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor is a great national park. In the event that                  you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lehigh River, and what would winter be without some skiing at Camelback. There is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Penn-Dixie Pond called the Indian Trail, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton. This lake is so wonderful. Martins Creek has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby; at Penn-Dixie Pond you can see Holiday Hill. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll go for Penn-Dixie Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites BETHLEHEM; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Evergreen Lake. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves.
