There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Shawnee Mountain, and Pecks Pond Dam is beautiful. So many amusing things close to Pecks Pond, just mind-boggling. A pleasant place for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Pecks Pond is Bush Kill Creek, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Smith Trail. If the weather is brilliant here at Pecks Pond, you can go for a hike along the Camp Biff Trail, and a quick trip to Maple Creek is absolutely a wonderful idea. Having a fine time at Pecks Pond is trouble-free. If time allows, Delaware National Scenic River is a national park worth going to. There's so much to do here at Pecks Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Watonka is a pleasant site for that. For the period of the warm days of summer highs here at Pecks Pond reach the 70's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Pecks Pond tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
