Do stop by Parryville Lake while you're in this part of Pennsylvania. This lake is so wonderful. Bull Run is a delightful location to have a look at, and Blue Mountain is a delightful local ski area. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs frequently are in the 70's at Parryville Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. There are good locations to discover along the Choke Creek Trail; dry warm beds await you at Inn at Jim Thorpe. Parryville Lake is a wet place that gets a large amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is typically August,
that's the one that rains the most while February is usually the driest month. Lehigh River is a good whitewater spot near Parryville Lake, and after a long day outdoors Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Lehighton, Pa is a glorious
site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Near Parryville Lake you locate the Boulder Field Trail which is a good hiking trail, and Pohopoco Creek Dam is not far at all from Parryville Lake. Going for a hike on
the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is always a tremendous adventure. Lakes? Sure, Lehighton Reservoirs is in the neighborhood.
