Any time is a good time at Panther Lake if you like the outdoors. Take a little tour to Freeling Run if you're here at Panther Lake, and folks from East Stroudsburg love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful close by hotel is Skytop Lodge, and going for a hike on the Burley Inlet Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Panther       Lake is a quite wet place mostly with much precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout June, and the driest of the months is February. Paddling on Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch is so much fun, and you're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Lake Russell is one of those close by. This lake is so wonderful. Panther Lake is a magnificent site to visit for more than one day, Camp Pocono Ridge is a magnificent site to camp nearby, and whitewater paddling                  is pleasant on Wallenpaupack Creek. Carlton Hill can be seen from Panther Lake, and nearby you locate the Boundary Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at Panther Lake get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Panther Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Panther Lake has to offer, you can camp at Ledgedale Recreation Area, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Lakeside Trail. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Alpine Mountain, and if you're here and you like golf, you can go to Buck Hill Falls CO Golf Club. This place is excellent, just explore all the cool things to do close to Panther Lake. You don’t have to go far from Panther Lake to see the water at Panther Lake Dam, and possibly you're looking for nearby lakes?
