Snorting Buck Hollow is a glorious place to stop by close to Painter Den Pond; you'll almost certainly meet some people from Bloomsburg-Berwick here. The Irish Settlement Trail offers hiking at its       best, and a pleasant place to camp here at Painter Den Pond is Good's Campground. Painter Den Pond is a good site of typical rainfall; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is January. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Painter Den Pond; Old Bulldozer Road Trail is a magnificent local trail, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Loyalsock Creek. Camping at Acorn Acres                  is always a delightful experience; Kitchen Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. During the summertime months at Painter Den Pond temperatures are generally in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Painter Den Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
