| This is the best campground I've ever been to. The owner is great and everyone is very friendly. There are camper areas, a huge field for tents, and also wilderness tent areas that are nestled into the woods. Each of the wooded tent areas is adjacent to a nice sized creek and contains a picnic table and fire pit. It has a pond for fishing and firewood available for purchase. Cranberry Glade Lake
| 15 miles away We spent the whole day fishing CGL on 7/27/08, this was my first visit. The lake is only an average of 4 FEET DEEP! We did find an occasional 5 foot spot, but he weeds are right up to the surface making trolling very difficult. We fished the entire lake and used a fish finder thruout, we marked very little fish. We caught 2 largemouth, both around 9 inches. One on a white Houdini worm, one on a top water frog.... |
