Oxbow Lake is a good place of typical precipitation; most of the rain falls through June while January is mostly the driest month. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Bowman Creek; if you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Clarks Summit is a splendid choice. Oxbow Lake is not the only site nearby, Lake Carey is a nearby lake, and playing golf is       lots of fun at Shadowbrook Resort Golf Course. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Oxbow Lake. There's some flowing water close by, Horton Creek is a stream you can pop by during your stay, and Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Tunkhannock is a good local campground. Schaffer's Riverside Campgrnd is a great campground nearby; a wonderful view of scenic Seely Hill is available. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps like Helman Swamp are fun to pop by,                  and Hampton Inn Clarks SummitScranton is a brilliant place to get some rest. Throughout the summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Oxbow Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Oxbow Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
