Visiting Delaware National Scenic River is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and why not pop by William Penn Dam if you're here. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Otter Lake. Alpine Mountain is a splendid local ski area, and there are other places here than Otter Lake, for example Camp William Penn Lake. This       lake is so wonderful. Snow Hill Falls is a great local attraction. The amount of precipitation that falls at Otter Lake is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is May, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Dry warm beds await you at Shawnee Village Resort; Country Club of the Poconos at Big Ridge is a splendid golf course close by. Lake Monroe is a splendid lake close to Otter Lake; after a long day outdoors Caesars Pocono Palace                  is a glorious site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Timothy Lake Resort is a good campground nearby, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Otter Lake; Smith Trail is a good local trail. Be careful coming to Otter Lake, you might not ever wanna go back home again. A magnificent site for whitewater paddling close to Otter Lake is Bush Kill Creek, and if you're here, you could have a look at Dancing Ridge Run. There are swamps here too; Ivan Swamp is around here, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Kinney Trail. For the period of the summer highs here at Otter Lake reach the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Otter Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from East Stroudsburg here at Otter Lake, and if you're here why not take a look at Tarkiln Draft.
