If you fancy the outdoors, you'll adore Onawa Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Brodhead Creek, and NAOMI VILLAGE is a perfect place to get some rest. Lakes are glorious; Deer Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Onawa Lake. Onawa Lake regularly gets lots of rainfall; the month with most of       the rain is May, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Buck Hill Falls; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mount Airy Lodge while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Onawa Lake, you'll locate Birch Lake which is a charming lake, and there's great hiking along the Snow Shanty Trail. This lake is so wonderful.                  After a long day outdoors Shadowbrook Resort is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and Maple Rock Campsite is a great local campground. Getting to Buck Hill Creek from Onawa Lake is trouble-free; not far from Onawa Lake you obtain some wonderful water scenery at Geissinger Dam. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Onawa Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's, and night lows at Onawa Lake during the winter ordinarily plunge into the 10's. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Paradise Creek, and you're sure to stumble upon some nice folks from East Stroudsburg here. If you're a golfer then a splendid nearby course is Buck Hill Falls CO Golf Club, and Lindenmere Sports & Arts center is a splendid campground nearby.
