Onawa Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Dry warm beds await you at Caesars Paradise Stream; playing golf is lots of fun at Buck Hill Falls CO Golf Club. At Onawa Lake you can distinguish Cresco Heights, naturally you could also have a look at Swiftwater Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. The Indian Trail is a perfect hiking trail right next door to Onawa Lake, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Paradise Creek.

Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Onawa Lake. Going for a hike on the Snow Shanty Trail is always a magnificent adventure. All the water falling down from the sky makes Onawa Lake a wet spot; May is the month that gets the most rain while February is typically the driest month.

Very magnificent water scenery is available at Geissinger Dam right next door to Onawa Lake; Lindenmere Sports & Arts center is a magnificent campground nearby. So many cool things to do at Onawa Lake, so little time. Get dripping
wet paddling on Brodhead Creek, and Onawa Lake is not the only place nearby, Lake Crawford is a nearby lake. This place rocks, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do near Onawa Lake. Near Onawa Lake you find the Burley Inlet
Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and skiing at Mount Airy Lodge is one of those things you just should do.
The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Buck Hill Falls, and if you need a location to stay Shadowbrook
Resort is a magnificent choice. Really great skiing awaits you at Alpine Mountain, and a quick journey to Buck Hill Creek is undeniably a glorious idea. This lake is so wonderful. Maple Rock Campsite is a tremendous local campground; you're sure to come across some cheerful people from East Stroudsburg here.
