 | Not at all deep, wide and shallow, nice parking but if you get to the very end where Octoraro Creek meets the Susquehanna it can get pretty nasty. Good place to train beginers but if they go out too far you may never see them again. Somedays the current at the mouth gets to be too much unless you have a rider picking you up downstream a couple miles.... |

Some of the campsites are located beside a creek or an unused Covered Bridge. There are tent spaces available on wooded sites. There is fishing in the creek, with a license. There is also catch & release fishing in our 4 1/2 acre lake with out a license. If the morning you can watch the sunrise over the lake and listen to the sounds of the farm animals starting a new day. On any day you can watch the horse and buggy's travel up and down the back roads around the campground. There is a game room with electronic games. On Saturday's there are crafts and board games for children, in the lodge. On sunny Saturday afternoons there is a wagon ride for children around the campground.
