A wonderful place to                  camp here at Oakton Reservoir is Wright's Orchard Station Campground; if you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Altoona is a great choice. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Little Conemaugh River, and hey, Spring Run is a fine local stream. Camping is available at Zimmie's Campground, and the snow is great at Blue Knob.
