The scenery at Oak Lake Dam near Oak Lake is pretty, and going for a hike along the Mile Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. This lake is so wonderful. Oak Lake is not the only place nearby, Lake George is a nearby lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Oak Lake has to offer, you can camp at Tall Oaks Campground. There's so much to do here at Oak Lake that you need to camp here for a while,       Benner's Meadow Run Camping and Cabins is a great place for that, and a great sight of wonderful Hager Hill is available. The yearly rain here at Oak Lake is about average; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while February is frequently the driest month. Some of the water close by flows, like Deadman Run, and a wonderful close by hotel is Fairfield Inn By Marriott Uniontown.
