There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Spring Brook, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Refuge Trail. Lake Greeley Camp is a brilliant campground nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Scranton-East (Dunmore), Pa. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Choke Creek Trail is magnificent fun, and the skiing at Elk Mountain is pleasant. An afternoon playing golf at       Wemberly Hills Golf Course is always a joy; if you come at the right time of year, Lackawanna River offers some wonderful whitewater. O'Conner Reservoir is right by the Pinnacle Trail, and Olyphant Number Two Dam is not far at all from O'Conner Reservoir. Getting to Grassy Island Creek from O'Conner Reservoir is uncomplicated, and a day on the slopes of Montage Mountain is just what you need. For the duration of the days of summer, highs typically are in                  the 70's at O'Conner Reservoir. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's, and night lows in the 10's for O'Conner Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Olyphant Reservoir Number 1 is a nearby lake that you could check out, and if you need a site to stay Scranton-Days Inn Dunmore is a good choice. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at O'Conner Reservoir. O'Conner Reservoir is a good place to visit for more than one day, Clayton Park Recreational Area is a good place to camp nearby, and a lake nearby is Olyphant Reservoir Number 2. A good deal of rain falls at O'Conner Reservoir; most of the rain falls throughout June, and February is the month with the least moisture.
