Many people like to go to Number Two Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Comfort Inn Lamar; do take a hike on the Gamble Trail. An average amount of rain falls at Number Two Reservoir; the month with most of the rain is June; January on the other hand is the driest. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Ram Hollow Reservoir, and there's whitewater on Larrys Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers.

| | You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the area right next door to Number Two Reservoir has to offer. Lakes are delightful; Number One Reservoir is a lake that's in close proximity to Number Two Reservoir; the nice folks of Lock Haven like to hang out close by. Area if you're here at Number Two Reservoir, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Lock Haven is a great choice. Going for a hike along the Long Hollow Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and get
your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Elk Creek. Summertime highs at Number Two Reservoir regularly tend to be in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally
in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Number Two Reservoir sink into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Ski Sawmill is delightful.

Susquehanna Campground
 | 11 miles away 5 PHOTOS We are seasonal campers at Susquehanna and love it. Although there is not a whole lot to do in the campground itself, there are many attractions close by. It is a good place to bring the kids and not have to worry about them. The Susquhanna river provides swimming, boating and tubing. There is a rec. hall in which we have many parties and pot luck suppers. There are many friendly people always willing to lend a hand if needed. I would recomend this site to anyone.A few pictures have been posted to show the river and some of the parties.... Good fun time... |
