In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Elk Creek. Summertime highs at Number Two Reservoir frequently tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are usually in the 30's with temperatures at Number Two Reservoir dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. After a long day outdoors Comfort       Inn Lamar is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two, and Number Two Reservoir is a spot with many visitors from Lock Haven. A pleasant place for whitewater paddling close to Number Two Reservoir is Larrys Creek, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Gamble Trail. If you came to camp Little Place Camping Area is a wonderful site to do that, and Best Western Lock Haven is a delightful place to get some rest. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin'                  a great time here at Number Two Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Number Two Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Sunrise Campgrounds is a glorious place for that, and the Gamble Run Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby. Number Two Reservoir is a good spot of typical rainfall; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
