     A pleasant place to camp here at Number Three Reservoir is Rosemount Camping Resort, and lakes are such calm locations, why not go to Waste House Run Reservoirs. Everybody close by loves skiing at Blue Marsh. Summertime highs at Number Three Reservoir frequently tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and night lows at Number Three Reservoir throughout the wintertime typically  
   dip into the 10's. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool things the area near Number Three Reservoir has to offer. Camping at Red Ridge Lake Campground is always a splendid experience, and do take a look at Davis Run since you're here at Number Three Reservoir.
This lake is so wonderful. A charming lake like Number Two Reservoir in the vicinity of Number Three Reservoir is a brilliant place to visit, and you can have a fine hiking adventure
 
               along the Sand Spring Trail. Number Three Reservoir is near Shenandoah Creek Dam which is a stunning place certainly worth checking out, and Ringtown Valley is another great site to stop at nearby. An average amount of precipitation falls at Number Three Reservoir; June is the wettest month with most rain; February is when it's the driest.
If you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Frackville is a wonderful choice; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Black Creek. Locust Mountain is beautiful and can be seen from Number Three Reservoir; going for a hike along the Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Number Three Reservoir in fact is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Frackville; this is a fine location in the shadow of the Locust Mountain.
This lake is so wonderful. Mountain Valley Golf Course is a golf course right next door to Number Three Reservoir, and there's whitewater on Nescopeck Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. You're sure to encounter some friendly people from Pottsville here, and do take a hike on the Yellick Path.

Not to differ from the obscure description given on the site, but Stairway Lake, or the Landingville Dam isn't quite the picture painted by that description. Well...Blue Marsh Ski is a cool half-hour away, you can about jump across Mahannon Creek, Mountain Springs is on the other side of the...mountain. But for real, the Landingville Dam is a decent place for water skiing and bass fishing. It is a superb location for crappie fishing and bird watching. The spillway is a great place for pickerel fishing and the emptying Schuylkill River is a wonderful run on a kayak or canoe. Take 'natural area' and 'desilting basin' with a grain of salt, as this dam is both. Natural enough to see a bald eagle, yet enough of a basin to see hundreds of plastic bottles strewn on the shores. Reasons to come to Landingille: carp, jet skis, foilage, isolation. Reasons not to: total lack of civilization, middle of nowhere, water pollution, isolation....

On July 28, 2008 I drove my 40' motor home to 81-80 CG.? There was no access to the CG.? The drive was blocked with traffic cones.? There didn't appear to be any campers any where around or inside.? It must be closed........
