Throughout the long summer days, highs typically are in the 80's at Number Three Reservoir with nighttime lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Number Three Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Nescopeck Creek. There's so much to do here at Number Three Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while,       Christmas Pines Camp Ground is a pleasant place for that. Paddling on Black Creek is so much fun; after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Frackville is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. There are perfect locations to look at along the Werts Path, and why not take a little tour to Lost Creek if you're here. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Number Three Reservoir, so little time. You don’t have to go far from Number Three                  Reservoir to distinguish the water at Raven Run Dam Number Three; dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Frackville. Number Three Reservoir gets a common amount of annual precipitation; June is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. The friendly people of Pottsville like to hang out close by; you can stay the night at Red Ridge Lake Campground. There are other places here than Number Three Reservoir, for example Mountain Shadow Lake, and going for a hike on the Yellick Path is always a magnificent adventure.
