Number One Reservoir is a good site of typical rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Throughout the long summer days here at Number One Reservoir, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter highs are       frequently in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Number One Reservoir through the winter typically descend into the 10's. After a long day outdoors Ramada Inn Washington is a great location to spend a night or two, and Number One Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Pioneer Park Sommerset is a good local campground. What a location this is for outdoors people. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Lone Pine Golf Club Pittsburgh                  is close at hand; camping at Whispering Pines Campground is always a great experience. There's whitewater on Montour Run for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and of course Catfish Creek flows through this region. Comfort Suites Washington is a good site to get some rest, and lots of folks from Pittsburgh come here. This lake is so wonderful.
