Little Place Camping Area is a great local campground. Hiking along the Long Hollow Trail is wonderful fun, and if you came for an overnight stay Sunrise Campgrounds is a splendid place to camp. There are some good whitewater spots on Larrys Creek, and a great close by hotel is Best Western Lock Haven. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Elk Creek for all you adrenaline kick people; Number One Reservoir       is a place with many visitors from Lock Haven. Take a hike on the Gamble Run Trail; Comfort Inn Lamar is a great spot to get some rest. All through the summer at Number One Reservoir highs are frequently in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Number One Reservoir. And if that's not sufficient, there's a heap more to do in the vicinity                  of Number One Reservoir. Gotta ski! Ski Sawmill is a pleasant spot to do that, and Number One Reservoir is right by the Gamble Trail.
