North Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Value Inn East Stroudsburg is a delightful choice; if you're looking for a fine visit, Delaware National Scenic River is reasonably near. Resorts USA is a splendid campground nearby; Bush Kill Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Shawnee Mountain. Near North Lake you hit upon the Bald Barren Trail which is a great hiking trail; a fine location for whitewater paddling is Hornbeck's Creek. But wait, there's more to do next to North Lake. North Lake Dam has good water scenery and it's close to North Lake, and the Flat Ridge Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby.

Lake all through the summertime months highs are in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows at North Lake through the winter ordinarily fall into the
10's. North Lake ordinarily gets a large amount of rain; May is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Really good skiing awaits you at Tanglwood, and going for a hike on
the Maple Brook Trail is always a delightful adventure.
Dry warm beds await you at Fernwood Hotel and Resort, and not far from North Lake you'll come across Silver Lake which is a striking lake.
