You'll discover a wonderful lake called Grassy Pond near North Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Cooper's Hidden Lake Campsites is a tremendous place to camp. So many exciting things right next door to North Lake, simply astonishing. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Kitchen Creek; Sweet Valley Golf Course is a golf course close by. If you need a spot to stay Americas Best Value Inn -Hazleton/Drums is a fine choice, and do go to Harris Pond Dam if you're here. Summertime highs at North Lake usually tend to be in the 80's. Campground while you're here at North Lake, and going for a hike on the Old Bulldozer Road Trail is always a good adventure. North Lake is a good spot of normal precipitation; June is the month that gets the most rain, and the
driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful. A pretty lake like Harris Pond near North Lake is a brilliant site to stop at, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Harveys Creek.
