 | 27 miles away I have been the advisor for the Cowanesque Valley Ski and Snowboard Club for 7 years. Our club has always come to Denton Hill. We have over 60 members in our club this year ranging from 1st grade to adulthood. We are so fortunate to have access to such a terrific mountain! The trails are challenging and the scenery picturesque. Our beginner members have benefited from the patience of Denton instructors and have developed into good skiers/boarders. The prices at the snack bar are reasonable and we enjoy munching on hot chili, and nachos and cheese. Thanks Denton for helping us cope with the winter blues. We look forward to every Sunday we spend at your slopes and do not look forward to the end of the season.... |

In addition to ''Maverick'' the new cut-through between Maverick and Twister will be a blue square called ''Bandit's Pass''. NEW TRAIL: THE GLADE We have opened up some fantastic glade skiing & riding above 80-acres and between Dozey Doe and Ben Blakely. The Swain Snowsport Instructors have spent many hours clearning the underbrush so that ''The Glade'' can be officially opened this year. Be sure to check it out when the snow flies! NEW TRAIL: MAGIC MOUNTAIN The Magic Carpet has found a new home on the west side of Lower Robinson where we carved out and regraded a new learning zone called ''Magic Mount... |
