A trip to Delaware National Scenic River is worthwhile; Raymondskill Creek is a great whitewater spot close by. If only every site had this much outdoors fun things, what a great world it would be. RPAMI - Red Carpet Inn Milford is a great location to get some rest; why not take a look       at a swamp like Crooked Swamp if you're here at Nitche Pond. Gum Brook flows through this neighborhood, and don't leave Nitche Pond without first going for a hike along the Maple Brook Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Walker Lake Dam is beautiful and it's in the vicinity of Nitche Pond, and Nitche Pond is not the only location nearby, Sawkill Pond is a nearby lake. Summer at Nitche Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight                  hours it's usually in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Nitche Pond are in the 10's. Dry warm beds await you at Scottish Inns Milford; there's tremendous hiking along the Lost Cabin Trail. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do in the vicinity of Nitche Pond. Holiday Mountain is a good local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Tanglwood is near Nitche Pond, and if you get bored of Nitche Pond you could also take a look at close by Twin Lakes. Go for a hike on the Bald Hill Trail, and River Beach Campsites is a brilliant local campground.
