Through the summer months at New Holland Reservoir temperatures are generally in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. During the winter highs are usually in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at New Holland Reservoir. Glide down the rapids of Brandywine Creek - West Branch in a kayak, and you can never get enough of the good skiing at Blue Marsh. This lake is so wonderful. If       you came for an overnight stay Country Haven Campground is a great site to camp; if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Horseshoe Trail. New Holland Reservoir is not far at all from Lancaster, and if you need a location to stay Country Squire Motor Inn is a great choice. Hollander Motel is a splendid spot to get some rest; why not camp at Spring Gulch Resort Campground while you're here at New Holland Reservoir. The Lenade Trail is a fine hiking trail in the neighborhood of New Holland Reservoir; New Holland Reservoir Dam is a delightful spot.
