All through the summertime at New Florence Reservoir highs are usually in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Through the winter the highs are mostly       in the 30's with temperatures at New Florence Reservoir dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. New Florence Reservoir gets a large amount of water; the wettest month of the year is frequently July, that's the one that rains the most; February is when it's the driest. While you're here at New Florence Reservoir, you could also pop by charming Big Spring Reservoir; swing by Baldwin Creek it's a good site to take a look at. Having a glorious time at                  New Florence Reservoir is painless. Have a good hiking adventure along the Laurel Highlands Trail, and a fine nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Johnstown. Why not camp at Yellow Creek Camp Ground since you're here at New Florence Reservoir; since you're here you can take a hike along the Clark Run Trail. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Tubmill Creek, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Johnstown-Dwtn, Pa is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Pleasant Valley Golf Course is a good way to kill some time; skiing at The Springs at Laurel Mountain is one of those things you just must do. This lake is so wonderful.
