Through the warm days of summer at New Florence Reservoir highs are ordinarily in the 80's while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at New Florence Reservoir are in the 10's. You can run the rapids of Tubmill Creek       in the vicinity of New Florence Reservoir; after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn JOHNSTOWN-DOWNTOWN is a great spot to spend a night or two. There's whitewater on Conemaugh River for all you adrenaline rush seekers; a round of golf at nearby Pleasant Valley Golf Course is a fine way to kill some time. So many fun things to do at New Florence Reservoir, so little time. There is a glorious hiking trail close to New Florence Reservoir called the Clark Run Trail;                  people from Indiana love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. New Florence Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rain; through July this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. If you need a spot to stay Econo Lodge Johnstown is a fine choice, and going for a hike on the Roger Mountain Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Mirror Lake Resort is a perfect local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
