Just can't get enough of New Alexandria Reservoir. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Crabtree Creek, and a nice nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Blairsville. The amount of precipitation that falls at New Alexandria Reservoir is close to the national average; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is usually the       driest month. Lakes? Sure, Keystone Lake is in the neighborhood; you can take a little trip to Keystone Dam since you're here at New Alexandria Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at New Alexandria Reservoir you can take a hike along the Brant Trail, and why not camp at Keystone State Pk Visitor Center since you're here at New Alexandria Reservoir. During the summertime months here at New Alexandria Reservoir, high temperatures frequently                  get into the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. All through the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's while New Alexandria Reservoir overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Wingate by Wyndham Latrobe is a delightful place to get some rest, and Seven Springs is a wonderful local ski area. Visit Crabtree Creek if you're here at New Alexandria Reservoir; on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Wolf Rocks Trail. Have a good hiking adventure along the Darr Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Fourmile Run. But wait, there's more to do close to New Alexandria Reservoir.
