This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Negley Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Campground Of Truth is a good site for that, and Rodeway Inn Carlisle is a wonderful site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Pine Plantation Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. High temperatures at Negley Pond through the months of summer are in the 80's.       Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Negley Pond descend into the 10's. While you're here at Negley Pond, you could also pop by beautiful Mosquito Lake, and if you came to camp Green Valley Campground is a good site to do that. Do go to Little Buffalo Lake near Negley Pond, it's a scenic lake, and do                  take a hike on the Dark Hollow Trail. Negley Pond is near Negely Dam which is a delightful place definitely worth checking out; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Maple Hollow Trail. A lot of precipitation falls at Negley Pond; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest month is January. Trout Run flows through this neighborhood; after a long day outdoors Travelodge Carlisle is a nice site to spend a night or two. You completely have to like Negley Pond.
