You're sure to encounter some great people from Harrisburg-Carlisle here, and Negley Pond is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Green Valley Campground is a splendid local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Mosquito Lake is a pleasant lake in the       vicinity of Negley Pond, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Maple Hollow Trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area near Negley Pond has to offer. Looking for some flowing water? Try Trout Run; after a long day outdoors Travelodge Carlisle is a fine place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Dark Hollow is a great place to spend some time at, and there's some interesting stuff to                  distinguish at Negely Dam in the vicinity of Negley Pond. Negley Pond is a rather wet place usually with lots of precipitation; through June this area sees the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Lakes? Sure, Little Buffalo Lake is close at hand, and Rodeway Inn Carlisle is a great location to get some rest. Ski Roundtop is a very popular ski area in the vicinity, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Pine Plantation Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Negley Pond with nighttime lows in the 60's.
